The trust is, keeping your kitchen organized is not difficult and doesn’t take up a lot of time. Best of all, it helps maintain a happy, stress-free environment for you and anyone who enters it! With that said, let’s take a look at some useful organization tips from Eco Clean Madison to eliminate chaos and restore order in your kitchen!

Maintain a Clutter-Free Home with These Useful Organization Tips

  1. Get Rid of Clutter

You can’t organize clutter; well, perhaps you can but what’s the point, right?! So, the first thing you need to do is ensure that your kitchen is a clutter-free zone. There may be several things cluttering up your kitchen counters, cabinets, shelves and even your refrigerator. Go through your packaged/canned foods and products and dispose of any that have passed their expiration date. You may also have utensils and kitchen tools that are rusted or broken and need to be thrown away. Similarly, if you have a lot of unused items in your kitchen that are taking up space or cluttering up shelves and cabinets, consider storing these things elsewhere to help de-clutter your kitchen.

  1. Get Organized with the Help of Racks & Trays

From kitchen tools to spice bottles; your kitchen is filled with little things and ingredients which can get misplaced. It also causing disorder if not stored away neatly. To help you organize these items and store them away appropriately, purchase trays and racks which can be placed on drawers, shelves and on kitchen counters. Many kitchen trays have compartments to store like-items together which not only keep things in an orderly manner but also help you to find items with ease.

  1. Store Pots ‘n’ Pans Practically

If you don’t have pull-out drawers with racks to hold pans, consider installing them. They are very convenient and increase storage space that every kitchen could use. Of course, the obvious way to store utensils is by placing one inside the other on shelves or in cabinets while small pans can be hung in a row on hooks against the wall. Again, if you have utensils that haven’t been used in years, consider packing them in a box and storing away for future use.

  1. Clear Your Counters Everyday

During the course of the day, many things that don’t belong on your counters (or even in the kitchen for that matter) end up making its way to them and are generally left there overnight. Don’t let this happen anymore because that is how cluttering a kitchen begins! After dinner, make sure you’ve cleared and cleaned your kitchen counters. As well as inspected the rest of the kitchen to ensure that things are put back in place. This way, you won’t have to wake up to a nightmarish kitchen ever again!
